Blackwater brings in Troy Williams as new import

Blackwater is making an adjustment early in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup, replacing its import Shawn Glover with Troy Williams ahead of the Bossing's next game this weekend.

The team announced the development on Thursday in bid to improve their current 1-2 standing in the import-laced conference.

The 28-year-old Williams previously had stints in the NBA, suiting up for clubs like Memphis, Houston, New York, and Sacramento before he joined T1 League in Taiwan with the Taoyuan Leopards.

Williams will replace Glover, who posted 24.33 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and 1.33 steals the in three games he played, which saw the Bossing fall to NLEX and San Miguel Beer and win over Phoenix Super LPG.

Blackwater will take on the Meralco Bolts on Saturday at 6:45 p.m. at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
