PACE, St. Stephen's clinch PCYAA Invitational Final Four tickets

PACE Academy and St. Stephen's High School clinched their respective Final Four slots in the Philippine Ching Yuen Athletic Association (PCYAA) 10th Anniversary Invitational Basketball Tournament on Thursday at Uno High School.

The PACE Pacers defeated Philippine Cultural College in the knockout stage, 69-54, with Axell Cue posting 19 points, 17 rebounds, and two assists. Kleivz Fong also registered a double-double with 15 points, 10 assists, and eight boards.

Meanwhile the Stephenians dismantled Chiang Kai Shek College, 63-47. Josh Cedrick Ong had 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals off the bench, while Josh Charles Ong and Sam Ng chipped in 17 points each.

With their respective wins, top seeded Xavier School will face St. Stephen's, while St. Jude will go against PACE in the semis on Saturday. Xavier and St. Jude both have twice-to-beat advantages.

The league, backed by Milk Magic, Spalding, Vital Purified Drinking Water, and Nexgen Asia, was also participated by Jubilee Christian Academy, MGC-New Life Christian Academy, Uno High School, Grace Christian College, and Hope Christian High School.
