Peter Alfaro delivers game-winning trey to put San Beda past La Salle in PBA D-League

Peter Alfaro saved the day for Marinerong Pilipino-San Beda as he delivered the game-winning triple against EcoOil-De La Salle University, 82-79, to barge into the win column of the PBA D-League on Tuesday at the Ynares Arena in Pasig.

Alfaro shot the clutch trey with 3.9 seconds left from Yukien Andrada to secure the victory.

Jacob Cortez posted 19 points, while Yukien Andrada had 18 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Alfaro and Emmanuel Tagle tallied 10 points each.

The San Beda win spoiled Mark Nonoy's 24-point and Kevin Quiambao's 20-point performances for La Salle.

San Beda and La Salle are now tied at 1-1.

Meanwhile, University of Perpetual Help System DALTA also notched their first win in the tournament against PSP Gymers, 93-82.

Perpetual will take on AMA Online on Thursday.
