Floyd Mayweather Jr. back on top of The Ring ratings
Following the stunning sixth round knockout of Manny Pacquiao by Juan Manuel Marquez, Saturday (Sunday, PHL time), undefeated American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. now finds himself back on top of The Ring's Pound-for-Pound ratings.
In the last edition of the ratings, Mayweather and Pacquiao were tied at number two, with the number one spot vacant. Pacquiao's loss drops him to seventh on the list.
Marquez, by virtue of his KO win, moved all the way up to number three, after last occupying the sixth spot.
Number two is American Andre Ward (previously number three), with Sergio Martinez and Adrien Broner filling in fourth and fifth, respectively. Filipino Nonito Donaire is sixth, spot one above his fellow Filipino. - AMD, GMA News
