Apparently, Floyd Mayweather wants to fight Manny Pacquiao, too.

At least, that's what Sam Watson, reportedly the right-hand man to Mayweather adviser Al Haymon, said in an interview with Fighthype.com.

"Floyd wants to fight him real bad. Floyd, that’s all he talks about is fighting Manny Pacquiao," Watson said. "Floyd says, 'I want that fight, Sam. I want him.' Now he’s speaking out on it, and I hope that he gets it."

Watson said the fight would even be bigger than Mike Tyson's skirmishes with Evander Holyfied and Lennox Lewis and Mayweather's clash with Canelo Alvarez, dubbing it as the biggest ever.

"Once the deal is set and done, you’ll see the biggest fight you ever saw in your life," he said. "This would be the biggest fight ever. Ever."

And according to Watson, two of such a large scale bout will occur between the two boxers. Earlier, Mayweather's camp reportedly wants to include a rematch clause in the deal.

"I believe there’s going to be two fights," Watson said.

He said that he could not wait until the fight finally happens, especially after witnessing Pacman's demolition of Chris Algieri in Macau.

“Everybody thought that he had slowed down. He didn’t slow down," Watson said about Pacquiao, who currently holds a 57-5-2 record with 38 knockouts. “He beat [Algieri] up real bad. He whipped on that boy."

"He’s back to being Manny Pacquiao. That makes the fight great for Floyd. Floyd wants him to be at his best," he added.

Watson said that the undefeated Mayweather (47-0, 26 KOs) is "the smartest fighter out there" and is ready to fight the eight-division champion with his best defense.

“Everybody wants to see Floyd lose. They want to see Floyd lose to Pacquiao. Floyd is ready, Floyd wants it." — Marisse Panaligan/JST, GMA News
