Mikey Garcia will either run or go to sleep against Pacquiao, Ancajas predicts

By JM SIASAT

Reigning IBF super flyweight world champion Jerwin Ancajas predicts that Mikey Garcia would run in circles as soon as he gets a taste of Manny Pacquiao's punching power.

The four-division Garcia and the eight-division Filipino boxing icon is headed for a showdown in the Middle East later this year, according to various reports.

"It is going to be a good fight, there is never a boring fight when it is Manny Pacquiao," Ancajas told GMA News Online in Filipino.

"He can't be overconfident against Mikey because he also has power and counterpunching," he added.

If the prospective fight comes to fruition, the 29-year-old from Panabo, Davao del Norte believes that it is going to take one punch to change the course of the bout.

"We all know that once Manny hits his opponent, everything changes," Ancajas said. "They say Manny is old but the young fighters he hit everything changes. Their game plan changes."
