Nesthy Petecio thanks supporters as she advances to gold medal match

Filipina boxer Nesthy Petecio is grateful for all the support she has been receiving in her journey to the Tokyo Olympics gold medal.

Petecio said this in a video posted on Saturday.

"Sa lahat ng nagdasal sa akin, thank you po!" Petecio said in the video.

The Filipina boxer earlier defeated Italy's Irma Testa in the women's featherweight division semifinals to secure a place in the finals.

She will fight for the gold medal on August 3.
