John Riel Casimero eats like a king after making weight for Rigondeaux showdown

Three-division champion John Riel Casimero finally got to feast on the foods he loves after months of cutting weight for his upcoming fight.

The Filipino WBO world bantamweight champion is slated to defend his title against former super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux on Sunday, August 15 at the Dignity Health Sports Park in California, USA.

The 32-year-old from Ormoc City tipped the scale at 118 pounds while the Cuban Olympic gold medalist came in at 117.5 pounds.

As soon as he got back to the hotel, Casimero treated himself with bulalo, spaghetti, rice, fruits, and chocolate to start his post-weigh-in recovery.
