SLIDESHOW: NU bests Ateneo for V-League crown, UST finishes third

After forcing do-or-die matches with their court foes, National University and the University of Santo Tomas won their respective game three's on Sunday in the Finals of the 10th Shakey's V-League first conference, at the PhilSports Arena.

NU took the crown away from Ateneo De Manila University, who failed to force a fifth set after taking the third, 25-23, 25-20, 17-25, 26-24.

UST finished in similar fashion, 25-18, 25-19, 19-25, 25-16, to stop Adamson University in the fourth set, for a podium finish.
