RP beats Cambodia, 14-0, in SEA Games baseball

The Philippine men's baseball team won its second game at the 24th Southeast Asian Games, beating Cambodia, 14-0, on Monday at the Queen Sirikit Sports Center in Pathum Thani province in Thailand. The Filipino made their runs from third to the sixth inning – 7-3-2-2 – leaving their rivals scoreless, according to results posted at the SEA Games official website. In the other baseball game on Monday, Indonesia defeated Malaysia, 24-0. In their first game last Friday (December 6), the Filipinos – defending SEA Games champs in this sport – overwhelmed Malaysia, 31-0, in the six-team round-robin tournament. The Filipinos chalked up their 31 runs in 21 hits in five innings – 4-5-9-10-3.
