Green Archers United dominate Pachanga Diliman in high-scoring UFL opener

Green Archers United pulled off a dominating showing against Pachanga Diliman, 9-5, to get their first win in the United Football League (UFL) on Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Pachanga's Hossein Doustdarsefidmazgi drew first blood with an early goal at the second minute, but Jimuel Ariola shot the equalizer in the15th minute after converting a cross from Robert Lopez Mendy.
Lopez Mendy then took over for the Archers, scoring back-to-back goals on Pachanga keeper Steve Yambou in the 21st and 22nd minute of the match.
He completed a hat trick five minutes later in the 27th minute off a pass from Jesus Melliza, who then scored his own goal at the 45th minute to finish the half for a 5-2 lead for the Archers.
Pachanga got two goals back at the start second half from Hamed Hajimehdi and Jinggoy Valmayor, but Lopez Mendy answered back with his fourth goal of the night to keep the Archers ahead, 6-4.
Hajimehdi then pounced on an opening to put Pachanga within one at the 67th minute, but Robert Cañedo connected with a timely goal to respond for the Archers.
Melliza and Floriano Pasilan then scored the late goals at the 81st and 90th minute to ice the game. - RAF, GMA News
