United City FC blanked against Kawasaki to remain winless in ACL

The United City FC endured another loss to Kawasaki Frontale in the group stage of AFC Champions League in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Monday night (Manila time).

UCFC, the reigning titleholder of the Philippines Football League (PFL), did not score any goal with 0-2 as it sank deeper in Group I.

The Philippine representative now stands deadlast in the group at fourth place with a 0-1-3 win-draw-loss card.

The defeat will also serve as the Filipinos' second-straight loss against the Japanese club following a discouraging 0-8 thrashing last Friday.

UCFC will next face Beijing Guoan this Thursday.
