Azkals-Yemen ends in goalless draw in AFC Asian Cup qualifiers

The Philippine national men's football team opened its campaign in the third round of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers in a goalless draw against Yemen in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

With the draw, both the Azkals and Yemen will get a point in the said round. The Philippines needs to top the group, which includes Palestine and Mongolia, or be among the five best second placers to advance to the Asian Cup.

The Azkals will return to action on Saturday when the play Mongolia.
