Malaysia - Edward Reyes brought back to life his chase for a maiden title on the Asian Development Tour with a good third round score in the PGM CCM Rahman Putra Masters Friday. Reyes, a Filipino-Briton seeking to breakthrough in his rookie professional season, churned out a three-under-par 69, a far cry from his 74 yesterday, for a three-day total of 212, allowing him to crawl back into contention against the trio of Zaw Moe of Myanmar, Malcolm Kokocinski of Sweden and Mitsuhiko Hashizume of Japan, who were locked in for first place. Moe (67), Kokocinski (69) and Hashizume (72) ended on identical 208s.  Overnight leader Iain Steel of Malaysia slipped to a share of sixth place on 210 after a 74. The Filipino checked in at one under after the opening half, then had three birdies on Nos. 11, 14 and 17 offset a bogey on No. 13 for a closing 34, en route to that 69. James Lam, the only other Philippine bet to make the cutoff, was on 24th with a 75 for 215.  Those who missed the weekend rounds of the $65,000 event were Mike Bibat, Jet Mathay, Miguel Ochoa, Glenn de Leon and Quino Baterna. Only 53 players remain for the final day of the PGM CCM event, which is the inaugural for the ADT in 2013.  This year, the step up league of the Asian Tour will be afforded Official Working Golf Ranking points.- AMD, GMA News
