PHL bows down to Malaysia in polo event, settles for silver

The Malaysian polo team successfully defended their crown after defeating the Philippines, 7-5.5, in the Southeast Asian Games at the Iñigo Zobel Polo Facility in Calatagan, Batangas Thursday.

Prince A'long gave Malaysia the lead with more than a minute left in the game, 7-5.5.

Philippines' Tommy Bitong tried to score for the Nationals but his attempt hit the goalpost.
