E-Gilas reigns supreme in Southeast Asia conference of FIBA Esports Open III


E-Gilas Pilipinas reclaimed the FIBA Esports Open title in the Southeast Asia conference after dominating Indonesia in the best-of-three Finals on Sunday.

The national team sealed the deal after winning Game 2 of the series, 44-36.

In Game 1, the Philippines eclipsed Indonesia, 60-53.

This is the Philippines' second title in the FIBA Esports Open. They topped the conference in the inaugural edition of the tournament, while they ended as runners-up in the second edition against Australia.

 

 

E-Gilas is composed of Angelico Cruzin, Arnie Sison, Clark Banzon, Custer Galas, Ian Santiago, Philippe Herrero, and Rial Polog Jr. They are coached by Nite Alparas.
