Blacklist opens MSC campaign with sweep of Indonesian foes

Blacklist International launched their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asian Cup (MSC) 2021 campaign with a resounding 2-0 sweep of Bigetron Alpha to pull ahead in the group stages on Monday.

The MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 7 champs opened the series with a 19-5 annihilation of Bigetron in Game 1 on the back of an Aldous hyper carry that the Indonesian squad failed to counter.

With Blacklist flaunting their healing meta complimenting the Aldous pick, the result was never in doubt as they finished off their Indonesian counterparts in 12 minutes.

Bigetron looked to have recovered well in Game 2 as an overextension by Edward "Edward" Dapadap (Lapu-Lapu) led to a 4-1 exchange in the second minute, giving the MPL Indonesia runner-up a 1k gold lead plus the turtle buff.

But Blacklist held on as Danerie "Wise" Rosario (Aldous) was able to farm consistently leading to a 13th minute Luminous Lord take that took down Bagus "Maxxx" Prabaswara (Lancelot) in the process.

The skirmish turned the game around for the Philippine representatives as they took away two inhibitor turrets and managed a 2.5k gold swing.

It was then Blacklist's for the taking as they kept the pressure and finished the series in the 20th minute.
