Arellano University (AU) will see one of its players in the final four of the NCAA Season 96 online chess tournament.
AU's Carl Jaedrianne Ancheta defeated José Rizal University's Avel Louise Baldovia in the featured match of the online chess quarterfinals on Saturday to advance to the semifinals.
Ancheta will join University of Perpetual Help DALTA's (UPHSD) Carl Zirex Sato and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s Adrian Othniel Yulo in the semifinals.
The final pair of Lyceum of the Philippines University's Neymark Digno and Mapua University's John Paolo Gaspar Medina will battle for the last slot to be aired tomorrow.
