RSG hands TNC fourth straight loss in MPL PH Season 8

By JOHN EDISON UBALDO

RSG Philippines quickly bounced back from yesterday's loss and scored a sweep of TNC Pro Team, 2-0, in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 8 elimination round on Saturday.

The MPL rookies have so far impressed in their debut season after taking down heavyweights Onic Philippines, Echo, and Bren Esports to keep pace as they now sit at 3rd place with 11pts on a 5-3 win-loss card.

After a close early game, RSG finally broke through in Game 1 during the 10th minute after a 3-1 exchange in a midlane clash built around Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog's (Alice) double kill that also led to a lord take.

He was limited to a 0-3-0 KDA early on opposite Adrian “Toshi” Bacallo (Beatrix) in the gold lane but recovered to finish with a 3-3-6 KDA.

A 3-0 wipe in the 20th minute spearheaded by Arvie “Aqua” Calderon's (Kagura) double kill finally pushed RSG ahead, 1-0.

Iy4knu (Alice) had a total turn around in Game 2 as he led the early game exploits this time, scoring a 3-0-0 KDA by the 6th minute.

His game brilliance was on full display during a 10th minute inhibitor turret push in the bottom lane where he performed a fluid flowing blood-flicker-blood owe combo coming from a midlane push to quickly takedown two TNC defenders.

He finished with a perfect 6-0-3 KDA to lead the 11-minute conquest of TNC.

TNC's season is slowly dimming as they remain at 6pts with a 2-5 win-loss card, good for 7th place.
