NXPE continues stellar season, beats TNC for 4th win in MPL PH S9

Nexplay Evos weathered TNC Pro Team's mighty comeback to score a 2-1 escape in Week 4 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 on Saturday.

With the series going into a close Game 3, goldlaner Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara stepped up in time to carry NXPE to their 4th win of the season and up their total to 11pts, tying their victims TNC who fell to a 3-3 win-loss card.

After TNC flexed their might early in Game 1 with a quick 3-0 kill lead, NXPE put together 15 unanswered kills on the way to an 11th minute conquest without dropping a single turret, 1-1.

Michael “MP the King” Endino (Lancelot) proved that his debut win two weeks ago was no fluke by finishing with a 5-1-5 KDA in the opener. 

TNC then opted for an objective-focused Game 2, veering away from skirmishes to establish a 5k gold lead by the 9th minute despite a measly 2-2 kill tally.

NXPE just didn't have any response for the opposing macro mechanics as TNC easily secured the luminous lord in the 12th minute that gave them the equalizer, 1-1.

The rubber match went down the wire as NXPE conceded the lord in a 20th minute clash but leaned on Hesa's (Brody) pinpoint marksmanship to score a decisive 4-1 clash and march in the midlane for the final push.
