Echo makes quick work of Blacklist to firm grip of top spot

Coming off a painful reverse sweep loss a day prior, Echo vented their ire on the hapless Blacklist International squad, going on rampage with a 2-0 sweep in Week 6 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 on Sunday.

The perennial MPL contender went on a field day, scoring a massive 31 kills and finishing off both games in less than 13 minutes to continue to lead the pack with 25 points.

Echo quickly imposed their will in the opening frame, taking a 5-0 kill lead at the 3rd minute mark with a 3k gold lead.

The league-leaders did not look back from there and capped off a dominating Game 1 win with a 4-1 wipe in the 12th minute for a quick finish.

They pulled ahead with a dominating 16-4 in the kill tally that saw Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno (Karrie) score a 4-0-6 KDA.

KarlTzy (Ling) did not waste time in Game 2 as he took a double kill in a 2nd minute turtle fight to spearhead a 3-0 wipe that set the tone for the match.

Another 3-0 annihilation in the 8th minute made it into a 16-3 Echo lead on the kill tally as they cruised to an easy 11th minute win.

It was Blacklist's ninth loss in 11 games as they stay in sixth place and are in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.
