RSG overtakes Echo for top spot; Bren, Omega pick up crucial wins

RSG Philippines overtook Echo for the no. 1 spot in the standings after sweeping the team on Saturday in Week 7 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (Philippines).

RSG now has 27 points while Echo has 25 with one more week to go in the regular season.

Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto's Baxia was instrumental for RSG in Game 1, while Dylan "Light" Catipon's Khufra had 13 assists in Game 2 to help the team bag their seventh victory in a row.

Meanwhile, Omega Esports picked up much-needed points after sweeping Nexplay EVOS. The team now has 13 points to move up to the sixth spot in the standings.

Earlier, Bren Esports secured a crucial 2-1 victory against Blacklist International to keep their playoff hopes alive. Bren now has 10 points while Blacklist has 12.
