Sibol Wild Rift women's team nabs 1st esports gold for Philippines in Vietnam SEA Games

The Sibol Wild Rift Women's Team swept the competition with a near perfect tournament record en route to securing the Philippines' first gold medal finish in the esports event of the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam on Wednesday.

The Filipinas dropped only one game throughout the tournament to complete a dominating performance.

They first swept the group stages to finish on top with a 4-0 card. They followed it up with a 3-1 win in the semi-finals across Thailand before completing the tournament conquest with a 3-0 sweep of Singapore in the Finals.

The Sibol Wild Rift Women's Team is composed of Christine "RAY RAY" Natividad, Rose Ann "HELL GIRL" Robles, Charize "YUGEN" Doble, Giana "JEEYA" Llanes, April "AEAE" Sotto, and Angel "ANGELAILAILA" LOZADA.
