Jorge Masvidal calls out Conor McGregor: 'Let's get that paycheck'

Mixed martial arts fan-favorite Jorge Masvidal did not mince words in expressing his desire to face former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor.

Masvidal, a hard-hitting welterweight, is one of the biggest names in the world's premier mixed martial arts promotion UFC. He is 35-16 as a pro and had suffered consecutive defeats after losing twice to UFC welterweight world champion Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington.

"Obviously, before this guy overdoses on cocaine and then the fight never happens and I don't get to make all that easy money, I just want to break Conor's face," Masvidal told Blockasset when asked of a prospective fight with McGregor.

"Let's get that paycheck, let's get that out of the way, selling the most pay-per-views ever before this guy does harm to himself or somebody else. Get that check real quick because I got kids, right? I need the f------ money."

The 32-year-old McGregor, meanwhile, suffered back-to-back defeats against Dustin Poirier and has only won one fight in almost four years. Regardless of their recent outings, Masvidal is well aware that a fight with McGregor would be huge and even dared the Irish superstar to a bet.

"I would bring out the BMF belt and some cash money. You got money, let's put some money. Let us get a little escrow going. I put a couple million aside, you put a couple million aside and it comes with the belt as a cherry on top," Masvidal said.

"That is what a bad [expletive] would do to get his money. It's there, but it has to be right under my stipulations, and with that belt, I'm like a f------ tyrant."
