Lydia de Vega to be honored in soon to be built Philippine Olympic museum

The achievements of the late Lydia de Vega will be honored in the soon to be built museum of the Philippine Olympic Committee.

POC president and Cavite Rep. Abraham Tolentino promised this to De Vega's family when they visited her wake in Taguig.

“Lydia’s legacy will forever be remembered. So we, the POC, are planning to put all her achievements on a wall inside the Olympic museum,” Tolentino said. “Her achievements in the Southeast Asian Games, Asian Championships and Asian Games, among others, will be immortalized there in the museum.”

“She’ll be an inspiration to all aspiring athletes,” he added.
