How Jhanlo Sangiao and Jeremy Pacatiw plan to spend their $50,000 bonus

Team Lakay’s Jhanlo Sangiao and Jeremy Pacatiw are going home to Baguio City with pockets full of cash after they each bagged a $50,000 (or roughly 2.78 million pesos) performance bonus each following their wins at ONE 164 last Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The 20-year-old Sangiao submitted his foe Anacleto Lauren in the opening round while Pacatiw also won against Tial Thang via triangle choke in round two—two exciting finishes that the ONE big boss Chatri Sityodtong thought were worthy of a big bonus on top of their guaranteed purse.

“As of now I just want to save it. I have not thought about what to do about it so I will let it sit in the bank. I do not know, maybe I will buy some treats and go out,” said Sangiao, son of Team Lakay’s head coach Mark.

Pacatiw, meanwhile, plans to start looking for a lot to build a house. Newly married to his years-long partner Marj last September, the hard-hitting mixed martial artist also wants to use some of his hard-earned money to help people in need.

“Now that I am starting my own family, I will use it for our future by looking for a lot where I could build a house, use some of it to help my family, and share the blessings the Lord gave me with other people,” Pacatiw said.

“This is a big help now that I am married knowing that there would be challenges ahead so we will use this as a couple.”
