Blacklist douses Burn X Flash to continue dominant run in M4 World Championship

By BEA MICALLER

Defending champion Blacklist International remained spotless in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championships after dominating Burn X Flash of Cambodia, 1-0, in their group stage battle on Tuesday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna (Angela) set the tempo for the Philippine bets, dealing the first damage in the opening minutes en route to a 8-1 kill count at the 8:20 mark with Kiel "OHEB" Soriano (Claude) collecting four of those.

Blacklist, the M3 champions, needed just seven minutes and 26 seconds more to finish off Burn X Flash in a commanding 15-1 kill spread as only Kunn "Xeon" Chankakada managed to have a kill in the game.

Oheb was hailed the MVP of the match for a perfect 7-0-3 KDA line.

Blacklist is now 2-0 to lead Group A after pulling off a similar victory against Turkey's Incendio Supremacy last Sunday while the Cambodian club dropped to a winless 0-3 and will advance in the lower bracket.

Burn X Flash was still missing its Filipino head coach in John Michael "Zico" Dizon, who remains in quarantine after contracting COVID-19 just before the tournament started.

The Codebreakers will look to sweep their group stage campaign later when they face Falcon Esports of Myanmar.
