Swimmers Xiandi Chua, Chloe Isleta notch 1-2 finish in women's backstroke

Filipino swimmers Xiandi Chua and Chloe Isleta claimed the gold and silver medals, respectively, in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.

Chua clocked 2:13.20 to win the women's 200m backstroke finals, while Isleta registered 2:16.19 to place second. Thailand's Fonpray Yamsuan finished third with 2:17.95.

Jasmine Alkhaldi also copped a silver in the women's 100m freestyle, her second in this edition of the SEA Games after getting one in women's 4x100m freestyle.

Chua's medal is her second medal in the regional tourney as she was also part of the women's 4x100m freestyle team. The gold is also the country's 18th in the biennial meet and swimming's first in the Cambodia Games.
