UST's Rondina is MVP, Laure gets Rookie of the Year award
UST Golden Tigresses' Sisi Rondina is Most Valuable Player, while Eya Laure is named rookie of the year in UAAP Season 81 women's volleyball tournament.
Rondina, at the end of the elimination round, topped the league in scoring with 259 points. Rookie Laure, on the other hand, came in second with 230. The two Tigresses also bagged the recognition for Best Outside Hitters.
Other individual awardees include Ateneo's Kat Tolentino as Best Opposite Hitter and Maddie Madayag for the 2nd best middle blocker award.
NU Lady Bulldogs Roselyn Doria was named 1st best middle blocker while Princess Robles won the best server award. UE veteran Kath Arado is this season's best libero while Laizah Ann Bendong is best setter.

The awarding of the individual awards for the women's division will be held before the second game of the best-of-three Finals series between UST and Ateneo.
In the men's division, NU's Bryan Bagunas is season MVP with two more individual awards, best outside hitter and best server. The awarding ceremony for the men's division were held this morning. — LA, GMA News
