‘Whatever it takes’: Rondina says Tigresses will give their all in final game

For UAAP Season 81 MVP Sisi Rondina, the UST Golden Tigresses' loss to Ateneo on Wednesday was just a bad game.

"Ako sa sarili ko, opinyon ko talaga, kami lumaban kami although we have lots of lapses," Rondina said in an interview.

She added that she is still grateful because her family was able to watch her for the first time.

"Thankful kasi naramdaman nila paano sumuporta ang UST community. Nandoon sila, nakasaksi sila kung ano 'yung UAAP. Thankful pa rin na kahit natalo kami, nakita nila na ganun sila mag-cheer sa amin. There's always a word na come back stronger," Rondina said.

She is also grateful that nothing bad happened to teammate Eya Laure. Early in the third set, the rookie of the year fell and suffered a mild sprain.

"Thankful pa rin kasi di ganun kalala nangyari kay Eya. Alam kong babawi kami, it's just a bad game," Rondina said.

And for Rondina's last game as a Tigress on Saturday, she said she will give it her all.

"Sabi ko, di tayo susuko. Di pa natin nakukuha pangarap natin. Di tayo talo kasi nanalo tayo nung Game 1. Game 3, lubusin nating lahat," Rondina said.

"Di ko na papalagpasin. Sabi nga, whatever it takes. Dun at dun na lang talaga so push na lang hanggang matapos ang ligang ito," she added.
