Petro Gazz survives Chery Tiggo in PNVF Champions League five-setter

The Petro Gazz Angels escaped a gutsy Chery Tiggo Crossovers in a grueling five-setter, 22-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-21, 15-11, on Sunday in the Philippine National Volleyball Federation Champions League in Lipa City, Batangas.

Myla Pablo registered 14 points off 13 attacks for the Angels, while Remy Palma added four block points and three service aces for the win.

Dindin-Santiago Manabat registered 37 points for Chery Tiggo in their loss.

The win improved Petro Gazz' record to 2-0, while Chery Tiggo registered their first loss in the tournament.

Petro Gazz will face F2 on Monday at 4:00 p.m., while the Crossovers will go against California Precision Spikers at 1:30 p.m.
