By BEA MICALLER,GMA News

F2 Logistics had a triumphant return to the taraflex after carving out a 25-15, 25-18, 21-25, 25-22 victory over the Black Mamba-Army on the opening day of 2022 Premier Volleyball League (PLV) Open Conference on Wednesday.

The debuting Cargo Movers quickly snatched the first two sets but a veteran-laden Army stayed steady to win the third frame and extend the match.

F2 Logistics, powered by the duo of Kim Kianna Dy and Majoy Baron, put the exclamation mark as they stunned the Army to book their first win after a long time without seeing action.

Dy finished with a team-high 20 points anchored on 15 attacks, four blocks, and an ace while middle blocker Baron chipped in 10 points. Ara Galang was also pivotal in her team's debut in the professional ranks with her 11 markers.

Army, playing  sans star opposite spiker in Jovelyn Gonzaga who is currently fulfilling her duties to the national beach volleyball team, was led by seasoned player Honey Royce Tubino and Michelle Morente.

Tubino listed 18 points in the loss while Morente, a former F2 Logistics spiker, churned out nine.

F2 Logistics was not able to join the league's maiden tournament as a pro fixture last year due to injuries and logistical issues.
