GMA Network to launch show for overseas Pinoys

MANILA, Philippines - GMA Network, Inc. will soon be coming out with a new Public Affairs program called "OFW Diaries." "OFW Diaries" is a tribute to the Philippine’s “best resources" – the more than 11 million Filipinos working abroad, according to its host, Kara David, She said the program is different from all the other existing shows because it has a specific market and a particular way of story-telling. “Dito sa OFW Diaries, mismong mga OFW at mga pamilya nila ang magkukuwento sa atin [Here in OFW Diaries, OFWs themselves and their families will be the ones to tell the story]," she said. She also invited OFWs to send their video blogs to the program, whether it be about the story of their endeavors abroad or just a greeting for their family in the Philippines.
