Cop killed in Pasig shooting

A police officer was killed responding to a shooting at a Pasig City school Saturday morning.

According to a Sunday radio dzBB report, SPO1 Clemente Fernan was responding to a call for help from a school in Barangay Palatiw, where a suspect identified as Emerson Go was reportedly running amok.

According to police investigators, Go was armed with a shotgun. He is said to be the son of the school's owner.

Go was able to shoot Clemente, despite the officer firing back. Clemente was declared dead on arrival when taken to hospital.
