Passengers of the Philippine National Railways were inconvenienced early Monday after a PNR train stalled near the station at San Andres in Manila.
The southbound train stalled at about 9 a.m., radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo quoted PNR spokesman Paul de Quiros as saying.
De Quiros cited initial information indicating a pressure problem with the train caused it to stall.
Operations reportedly normalized after 30 minutes.
Monday's incident came barely a week after a Metro Rail Transit coach went out of control and overshot a safety barrier at the MRT station in Pasay City.
An MRT coach also stalled Sunday morning, forcing the MRT to briefly limit its operations. — Joel Locsin/RSJ, GMA News
