EDSA turns empty during #MMShakeDrill

The government conducted a metro-wide earthquake drill on July 30 to help prepare for a high-magnitude earthquake. Authorities pleaded with people to participate, if only for seconds. The appeal didn't fall on deaf ears, as motorists participated — as proven by this vehicle-free photo of EDSA taken by Catherine Capila for a few moments during the drill.
