The operation of Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) on Thursday morning was disrupted after it suffered another technical problem which prompted the unloading of hundreds of northbound passengers.
In an advisory, MRT3's management said that an electrical failure on the train's motor at 10:37 a.m. prompted the unloading incident.
Around 800 passengers were affected.
The passengers were able to board the next train after six minutes.
MRT3 said one cause of electrical failure is "worn out electrical sub-components." —Marlly Rome Bondoc/KG, GMA News
