Arnold Padilla asked to be brought to hospital —Eleazar
Arnold Padilla, the man who, together with his wife and bodyguards, was accused of verbally and physically abusing barangay traffic enforcers, has asked to be taken to a hospital following the raid on his houses on Friday morning.
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Director Guillermo Eleazar said he has been informed that a private hospital has deployed an ambulance to fetch Padilla from his residence in Barangay Magallanes in Makati City.
"Balita ko nagpadala ng ambulansiya 'yung St. Luke's at sinabing masama ang pakiramdam at dadalhin sa ospital 'yung suspek," Eleazar said in an interview on Dobol B sa News TV.

Eleazar said he ordered that a police ambulance be deployed instead to bring Padilla to Camp Bagong Diwa.
"Magre-relax lang iyan sa ospital," Eleazar said. "Di puwedeng ganun, na tayo'y pinaiikutan nitong mga ito."
Padilla's counsel, lawyer Raymond Fortun, said in a separate interview on Dobol B sa News TV that his client is not "in the pink of health" and was rattled by the incident. —with Rie Takumi/KBK, GMA News
