Angkas offers free rides for commuters affected by limited LRT2 ops

Motorcycle ride-hailing app Angkas is offering free rides from Santolan to Recto and vice versa to commuters affected by the limited operations of LRT2.

Angkas on Tuesday said its riders will be taking the LRT2 route and free rides will be available from Tuesday to Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

LRT2 resumes partial operation on Tuesday from Cubao to Recto and Recto to Cubao stations only after its rectifier-transformer between Katipunan and Anonas stations exploded last week. —Dona Magsino/KBK, GMA News
