Manila’s COVID-19 cases now three

Two new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were reported in Manila on Monday, which increased the total number of infections in the city to three, according to a report by Isa Avendaño-Umali on Dobol B sa News TV.

One of the two new cases is a 23-year-old female from Sta. Ana who works for a salon in Greenhills, San Juan City.

She had a “work contact” with Patient 21. She recently traveled to Cebu and Lipa, Batangas.

The other one is a 64-year-old female from Sta. Cruz who has no history of travel abroad.

At least eight are considered persons under monitoring (PUMs) in the city,  according to Cesar Chavez, chief-of-staff of Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno.



The Department of Health earlier disclosed that a 56-year-old male living in Manila with no travel history was Patient 12 in the list of COVID-19 cases in the country—Joviland Rita/KG/RSJ, GMA News
