CCTV cameras installed in QC markets to monitor social distancing

The Quezon City Market Development and Administration Department on Thursday installed a CCTV camera at the Balintawak Market to ensure that social distancing is observed by marketgoers.

CCTV cameras have also been installed in other wet markets in the city, including Commonwealth Market, Mega Q Mart and Bagbag.

So with these electronic devices, mas maa-address natin nang mabilis ang problema sa social distancing and other related problems,” he added.

Lipana views the videos in real time on his gadgets. The videos are also monitored at the Quezon City Hall.

--KBK, GMA News
