6.5 grams of shabu, pistol seized from 2 Chinese nationals in Pasay


Two Chinese nationals were arrested in Pasay City before dawn on Saturday for breaking the curfew and for alleged possession of illegal drugs and firearm.

According to a police report, suspects Li Yanchi and Sun Shihao were arrested by Pasay City Police who were conducting a mobile patrol at around 1:30 a.m. along Sunrise Drive, Mall of Asia (MOA) Complex in Barangay 76, Zone 10.

The suspects were also allegedly found in possession of three sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 6.5 grams, which is valued at P44,220, and two improvised tubes.

One 9mm pistol and one magazine loaded with live ammunition were also seized by the police officers.

The arrested foreigners were brought to the MOA Substation 10 for documentation.

They were also brought to Pasay General Hospital for medical examination before their referral to the Drug Enforcement Unit in Pasay City Police Station for investigation and proper disposition. —Hana Bordey/KG, GMA News
