NKTI to close outpatient services starting Jan. 7, 2022

The National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) in Quezon City on Tuesday announced that it would be closing its outpatient services starting January 7 until further notice.

The NKTI assured patients that all consultation during this period would be shifted to telehealth services.

The hospital, however, said private outpatient clinics are left to the discretion of their physicians.

“Private patients are advised to coordinate with their respective doctors regarding their scheduled appointments,” the NKTI said in an advisory.

“For SERVICE PATIENTS, you may call our Outpatient Services (OPS) at 89810300 local 1123/1122/1194 for further inquiries,” it added.

Meanwhile, the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center in Tondo, Manila, and Ospital ng Malabon also temporarily stopped admitting patients due to the rise in COVID-19 cases among hospital employees and personnel.
