Ombudsman office in QC closed from Jan. 7 to Jan. 12 over COVID-19 cases

The Office of the Ombudsman on Agham Road in Quezon City will be closed from January 7 to 12 due to the reported increase in the number of its employees who either contracted COVID-19 or were exposed to the coronavirus.

In an advisory posted on Twitter, Ombudsman employees will be working from home as permitted by civil service rules.

Applicants for Ombudsman clearances may deposit their applications at drop boxes at the entrance gate of the Quezon City offices.

The filing of pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other relevant documents "shall be deemed interrupted and the period of filing such shall begin to run the next working day." —NB, GMA News
