Littered rock salt caused traffic jam on EDSA Ayala Tunnel exit —MMDA

Moderate traffic jam greeted motorists Tuesday morning at the northbound lane of EDSA Ayala Tunnel exit due to "littered rock salt" in the area.

In an advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advised motorists to avoid the rightmost lane of EDSA Ayala Tunnel Exit northbound.

“Motorists are advised to avoid the rightmost lane of EDSA Ayala Tunnel Exit NB due to littered rock salt at the area. Moderate traffic in the area. MMDA personnel on site,” the agency said.

The traffic was slow moving as of Tuesday morning as the MMDA clears the area.

A Facebook post of MMDA EDSA traffic head Bong Nebrija showed that the material covered almost the entire road.
