Woman stabbed to death in QC; partner named suspect

A 23-year-old woman in Novaliches, Quezon City, died after her live-in partner allegedly stabbed her, a report by James Agustin on Unang Balita said on Thursday.

At least five stab wounds to the neck, chest, and face were sustained by victim Lory Laman allegedly from the suspect, 19-year-old Ceranton Jarales, who was arrested during a police operation in Cavite.

Sumulpot doon ‘yung allegedly third party,” said Police Liuetenant Colonel Mark Julio Abong of the Quezon City Police District.

(They met to separate peacefully, but there was a third party.)

The two were together for about two years before deciding to end their relationship. However, when Jarales learned of the victim's suspected affair, he grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her.

Syempre po masakit po sa’kin,” Jarales said after admitting to his crime.

(My vision went black because she defended her affair, pushed me away and told me to leave since she did not need me anymore, which was painful for me.)
