Ex-band singer says helper who stole from her now using her vax card as ID

By GMA News

The household helper who has allegedly stolen hundreds of thousands worth of cash and valuables from her former employers is reportedly using the vaccination card of one of her victims to apply for work.

According to John Consulta’s report on “24 Oras”, victim Caren Tevanny Mangaran — former lead singer of the band General Luna— immediately sought the assistance of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after seeing her former maid in the news.

Mangaran said she also fell victim last year to the helper whom she hired after they met online.

She said the suspect stole her valuables including cash, a laptop, a game console, a watch, and expensive bags worth P300,000.

She was likewise informed by other victims how the suspect had been using her vaccination card as an ID.

“Affected siya when it comes to reputation, syempre pag pinahuli sya tapos name ko baka ako yung maano sa NBI nyan. Gusto ko siyang mahuli kasi nakaka-usap ko yung mga victims,” Mangaran said.

(My reputation was affected. Of course, if she will be arrested while using my name, I might be the one implicated before the NBI. I want her to be arrested because I have talked with the other victims.) -Sundy Locus/NB, GMA News
