Motorists and commuters could expect heavy traffic around the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City on October 29-30, 2022 due to the ADMU's College Entrance Test (ACET).

In a traffic bulletin, Ateneo advised the public to brace for heavy traffic in the Katipunan area where the university is located.

“The ACET will be on Saturday and Sunday, 29-30 October 2022, at the Ateneo de Manila University's Loyola Heights campus in Quezon City,” it said.

“Heavy traffic is expected in the area, particularly along Katipunan Avenue and surrounding streets. Please plan your trips accordingly,” it added.

Ateneo said more than 3,000 students are expected to take the exam on Saturday and almost 4,000 learners on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

In August, the university announced that it would conduct ACET again after two years of suspending the test due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aside from their performance in the ACET, Ateneo said applicants will be assessed based on their academic and non-academic performance from Grades 9 to 11; batch ranking at the end of Grade 11; personal admission essays; recommendation letters; extracurricular and disciplinary records. — DVM, GMA News
