2 killed in Pasay City road accident

Two men riding on a motorcycle were killed after figuring in a predawn accident with a 10-wheeler truck in Pasay City Tuesday. The two victims were crossing the corner of EDSA Extension and Roxas Boulevard when the 10-wheeler truck hit and dragged their motorcycle, radio dzBB’s Paulo Santos reported. Succumbing to injuries to the head and body were two male residents of Pasay City. Police said the incident occurred at 1 a.m., when the motorcycle (SF-9090) was about to cross the corner of EDSA Extension and Roxas Boulevard. As the motorcycle was crossing the corner, the truck driven by one Rolando Bajaris hit them and dragged them several meters. Investigators quoted the truck driver as saying he did not see the motorcycle. Bajaris faces charges of reckless imprudence resulting in double homicide. — GMA News
