Duterte on grandson’s nickname Stonefish: Kaawa naman ang bata

President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday joked over his daughter's Sara's choice for his newborn grandson's nickname.

"Ang pangalan daw Marko Digong. Ganoon talaga iyan si Inday... Ito ang palayaw daw Stonefish. Kaawa naman ang bata," Duterte said at an event by the Cebu of Commerce and Industry Inc. (CCCI) in Lapu-Lapu City.

The President said he was excited to meet the youngest member of his family.

Sara gave birth to Stonefish on Thursday. She has a daughter named Shark and an older son Stingray with husband, lawyer Manases Carpio. —NB/BAP, GMA News
